System for Shanghai Institute of Foreign Trade in Songjiang
University Town The construction goal for Shanghai Institute of Foreign Trade in Songjiang University Town is to realize a top-ranking intelligent campus in the world. After 8 months of striving for it, its 1st phase of attachment projects has been completed for the first students' enrollment in the fall of 2001.
The
project introduced the advanced computer technologies, automation
technologies, communication technologies, multimedia technologies
and information processing technologies to provide effective,
convenient, comfortable, safely and economical operation
environment, and it is provided with the perfect and powerful
computer application system of information capturing, acquisition
and processing.
A
modern teaching and management are available in the Institute via
the intelligent system to supply teachers and students all-sided and
real-time information and knowledge.
The
system consists of the infrastructure management automation system,
campus computer network and running platform, E-teaching equipments
and its control system, VOD system, simultaneous interpretation and
electro-meeting system, teaching, property management as well as
information service management system. The project adopted a variety of advanced application technologies in the area of intelligence, networking and information science to provide with the international top-ranking modern teaching environment, modern management environment and modern life and service environment. |
