The Portable IC Card Fingerprint Identifier and its application system
are built for a whole that integrate acquisition, card making, verification and post-treatment. The system calculates the
fingerprint image gathered from the device and compresses it into characteristic code, so as to be recorded on the IC card held by
cardholder. When verifying, firstly the identifier acquires the fingerprint of the person on the scene, then compares and contrasts
to the information that stored in the IC card, and displays the verification result. The identifier memories the ID information and
the results are delivered to a computer for post-treatment system to manage it.
